Our civil ceremony is taking place in the late baroque ballroom of the former Cistercian Monastery Raitenhaslach about six kilometres south of Burghausen.
For those who would like to arrive by car there are free parking spaces slightly above the monastery complex (Klosterstraße / 48°07'50.2"N 12°47'20.4"E). A free shuttlebus will be provided for all those who are from Burghausen or are staying the night.

Which place would be better to celebrate than at the Stranzl-Hof? This is where we got engaged four years ago, planted a tree, where our heart‘s blood flows and where we feel at home.
The Stranzl-Hof (48°07'48.1"N 12°45'40.5"E) lies 0,9 miles south of the monastery. The farm is secluded and situated at a slope, we will need enough space to celebrate and to have a rescue access just in case therefor there will not be any parking possibilities anywhere close by. This is why a shuttlebus will bring you from the ceremony to the wedding party so we can toast glasses.
We want to fill this day with laughter, food and drinks. You’re allowed to sing, give speeches and dance just how you like to. Food and drinks will be provided and you can wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We are celebrating in the open (a tent will be provided if the weather is bad) so bring something to keep you warm.

We are looking forward to celebrating with you all even if there won’t be any wedding games. We want it to start cozy and to turn it up a notch later on. Be ready for surprises!

Shuttlebus
To the wedding with the bus and back!
We arranged a shuttlebus so you can get to the wedding and back safely and relaxed since there won’t be any parking options nearby. (The specified departure times may change before the wedding)
Burghausen > Monestary Raitenhaslach (Wedding ceremony)
For all guest who are staying in Burghausen Neustadt, Altstadt or on the Austrian side there will be the option provided to arrive at the monestary (6km) by bus from Burghausen which will make three stops for you to get on.
Free parking will be provided a little above the monestary (Klosterstraße) for whoever wants to drive there themselves.
Places the bus will stop:
12:10 pm - Town Square bus station with bus company MARX (Stadtplatz), Altstadt Burghausen (arrival 12:30 pm)
12:00 pm - Fair Hall with bus company LIEBOLD (Messehalle, Unghauser Str. 22), Neustadt Burghausen (arrival 12:20 pm)
11:50 pm - Zeltplatz Frauenberger & Hammerle with FFW Raitenhaslach (Camp Site) (arrival 12:10 pm)
12:25 pm - Camper port Burghausen with FFW Raitenhaslach (arrival 12:40 pm)
Monestary Raitenhaslach > Stranzl-Hof (Wedding party)
After the ceremony a small bus will drive from the monestary directly to the wedding party repeatedly every 20 minutes. For those who would like to walk (approx. 30 min) there will be enough time to do so.
1:45 pm - Courtyard, Monestary Raitenhaslach
Stranzl-Hof > Burghausen
The bus will also drive you back later in the night so everybody can get back to their car or to Burghausen. The bus will make the same stops it made during the day. (Monestary Raitenhaslach, Fair Hall/Neustadt Burghausen, Town Square/Altstadt Burghausen, Taxation Office/Altstadt Burghausen)

For whoever is looking for an overnight stay will find a list of hotels, pensions and private accommodations. There are inexpensive rooms in the burghausen hostel and Haus der Begegnungen Heilig Geist. If you would like to camp there is also a camp site nearby.
